Description
I made this necklace combining wire wrapping and chainmaille.
16 ga solid copper wire is shaped into a swirl and tightly wrapped with 26 ga wire. Center of the focal is decorated with copper leaf charms, czech glass briolette and corrugated copper bead. Second layer of the focal is adorned with copper beads and swarovski rondelles.
I decided chainmaille necklace would fit more than finished chain. All rings in the necklace are handmade from 18 ga solid copper wire.
It is oxidized and polished.
Focal measures 52 x 50 mm (1.97 x 2.04'')
Chainmaille necklace lenght is adjustable and measures in total 44 cm (17.32'').
